Today is election day in Texas. I voted this morning. Have you? Use your constitutional right that many people have died to preserve: VOTE !!!

My wife and I were going to vote opposite of each other on almost every choice so I told her this morning (in the interest of aiding the economy) I should just go straight to work. Since we would be cancelling each other out it's logical. Well, after I got to work she called me up and I discovered she had pulled a quick one on me!

Is it illegal to state my opinion?

No, I was just asking "or what".

I thought there was a follow up.

Like, I thought if I voted "independent" or "democrat" or "socialist" or "communist", something might happen.

Now, that is no fun!!!

I don't even smoke pot, but I'm all for it!!! I've never even tried it (not even a drag without an inhale - lol), but I'm still for it!!!

Heck, I'd legalize it all... cannabis, heroin, crack/cocaine, acid, meth... send it to your local CVS and tax the bad boy, regulate the cr*p out of it, etc...

I can see your point. There is definitely an upside. :xyxthumbs:

Cee Dog,
Ah, those ladies are clever. Can you stop by after work and vote before polls close? Then take your wife out to dinner and celebrate.

This could go into a massive flame war quickly if we keep going with this...
But I do say, go out and vote. It's your civic duty to vote. If you vote, you get to complain about things when they don't go your way. I guess you can complain if you don't vote, but that's just silly. I voted this evening and gonna watch the results come in.

George Carlin had a different take... I think he was on to something...

It's a bit racy. I tried to disable to link by putting space between www. and youtube. Hope you can still see it.

Just cut and paste the link and remove the space and it should work.

I agree.

I even find Tesla's signature line to be provoking and inappropriate as it is political (and wrong on so many levels!). ;)
