Electric pressure washers

'But wait there's more'

Is a 'constant' duty cycle really that ? one would think so but sadly this isn't so or is it ?????????????

In the context of using a pressure washer for detailing, I don’t see duty cycle as something that matters. In my use, my pressure washer pump isn’t in use for more than 3-5 minutes at most and that’s for the initial rinse or foam gun use before turning off.

If you were planning on using the pressure washer for driveways, decks, exterior house use, etc. then I could see duty cycle being important. But an electric pressure washer wouldn’t be something I would use for those purposes anyway.

I would say being at the ready (pressurized - pump powered but not running) is something to consider as it certainly would add stress to any seals within the pump. That probably should be included in a duty cycle since technically it has to be powered on to maintain pressure.

Anyone hear have a Active 2.0 Pressure Washer? This is there newer upgrade. I only see good reviews on it with YouTuber's that will say anything good for free swag:(
I have a nice gas model and never like bringing it. I wish the Kranzel 1050 was available in US in 110ac
I like the AR but again 75lbs. No thanks!
I just like the small size and minimalist look on there new model.

I saw a few reports on Facebook of them dying after limited use.

I just wanted to double check MisterSnoop. Was it the old model or the new 2.0? I do know the first ones had problems!

Rereading the comments... It looked like 1 failure on the 2.0 (the original post). The other one mentioned was a VE51.
