This client requested a service to renew a new to him Corvette. I recommended we go with a quick one step and full interior to stay within budget and obtain maximum rejuvenation to his vehicle.

I used a rotary with M105 and yellow B&S pad.

I used lexol to clean the leather with 3" Griots Garage D/A and leather cleaning brush attachment.

No holograms??

No, holograms are created by heat. Although I worked outside, I kept the panels I was working with in the shade, also using chilled water and LED lights instead of halogens helps keep the heat down. Also adjust your arm movements so you don't create too much heat. M105 uses SMAT polishing technology (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/56434-smat-vs-dat.html)

So keep the RPM's low, work around the panel faster etc.

Looks like he plasti dipped the roof? I did my vette that way and it turned out very streaky so I took it off. Nice Job!! :dblthumb2:

Yes... I did not like it but luckily I just work on them not own them. I wanted to start a plasti dip cars as well and actually bought 10 gallons of matte black but the orange peel is horrendous especially on the clear gloss dips and because it's dip you can't level it. I sold my dip and with it the idea of creating that portion of business. I just offer that low level of quality to my customers. Also dip may not be safe for some clear coat systems as their are confirmed reports it has been linked to cc failure.
