What are some of those moments in your learning process/product experience when the light bulb went on or the scales fell away from your eyes?

Like..."Why didn't I figure this out before?"

Perfecting the Rinseless wash technique. Nothing before, and since...has saved me so much time, product, and water...yet produces amazingly glossy looking paint.

The next light bulb that isn't quite totally on yet ...is the new Megs MF DA system.

My first was when I accidentally squirted my hose into a bucket of car wash soap and discovered suds

Had to be my first engine compartment detail! How easy it really is and bang factor is huge!

Modern day engines and electronics are really quite water resistant and with a little common sense anyone can do it!

When I found out I could just pay people to do this for me! LOL

After spending 6 hours washing and waxing I was heartbroken to see the car covered in swirls. I bought a PC7424XP shortly after.

When I used Fuzion again..I use to always use Fuzion only..I bought a tub of Souveran last year for my mustang..Did the car twice with it..2weeks ago i waxed it again this time I used Fuzion and WOW..I just love fuzion so much better..its not a greasy mess if you accidentally put to much on..it is much easy to wipe on and off..you dont need a bunch of MF towels to do the whole car cause its not as messy..I dont think i will use anything but Fuzion once again

When I discovered water based compound and polishes.

When I use ONR for the first time.

When I was 13 alone in my room....

Oh you said detailing Eureka moments
Just kidding guys

Kinda handy when you can run down to the mall and pick up a tub for half price too, isn't it? :D

Next time the weather's decent enough for a good ride I'm gonna drag out one of the bikes and head down there. Probably be asked to leave for drooling all over everything.

ONR. Washing a car under 40mins including wheels and outside windows. Its amazing.

liquid wax/sealant. easy on/off. 3m performance and collnite 845. and wax on wheels so much easier to clean. rain x on windows is so nice

apc+stiff bristle brush. so many stains are easy to remove. all be it lots take alot of time, but others its spray, scrub and wipe with terry cloth and done. honestly i needed to do a dozen interiors before it felt easier and less daunting.

claying after onr wash, before drying. it just saves time

groits grage for polishing and waxing. polishing took a dozen cars to feel really good with it and it feels faster. before it felt like hours doing side of a car or the hood.

kevin brown method. m105+spirts of water or ONR in a garden sprayer. and garden sprayers, omg i love those.

IPA as a window cleaner. it just rocks.

detailing a whole car inside and out is a daunting task. it can feel like it takes hours and hours. but planning things out and experience after 20 cars or so the time seems to go by faster. at least when your working with a passion.

edit, using a grit guard.

Probably the 3rd time I used the Tornador to complete an interior. Don't know how I ever went without this tool.

The first time I used it...thought it was a waste of money. The second time I used it...I realized real quick that it helps cut time in half. Third time...I've never looked back. It's a must. :xyxthumbs:

Also, the first time I discovered "magic sponges". Those things are amazing and I now buy them in bulk.

When I discovered just how much I spent at Autogeek in 2010!!! :wow:  :surrender:
