Fashion vs Function on Shampoo Buckets

Maxshine make a Vyper knock off, which is priced at $325 AUD, less with the discount I have access to. But it looks like a cheap copy, so the price tag doesn't match reality. And even if was cheaper, it's still too bulky and doesn't go low enough.

This is what I'm talking about, haunching down from that height to clean wheels is not pleasant.

I couldn't see the pictures in your post, but I could when I quoted it, go figure. Definitely not low enough.

There is this one from Supercheap as well, only $99.99, still not low enough, it does have a detachable creeper, which is probably too low, but it has weight limit of 100kg, so that's me out.PSX_20250721_215058.jpg

So my 18" bucket seems just about in the middle of the 2 ranges

I am an avant garde trendsetter

Who knew?

🤷‍♂️

I used to use the 5 gal. black Autogeet buckets, but when I started doing RWs due to the water restrictions, I switched over to 5 gal. white ones, that I buy at a local hardware store for around $5 each. If they get scatched up or broken handles, I just replace them. I like the white because I want to see what I'm pulling off the paint and especially with ONR, I can see that when I pull out the grit guard. I throw a Chemical Guys bucket lid on an old 5 gal. bucket and use it for a seat when doing wheels. etc.

I found the below dolly on Amazon, which I liked because the wheels were larger and didn't get stuck in cracks (more or less) when moving it around. I also like the side storage for spray bottles and brushes. The thing works great and fairly indestructable, but no longer available on the jungle. I lifted this pic off the internet to show how it holds bottles, etc.
