Favorite applicator for tire gels?

I like to use the Cobra Tire Dressing Pad.

Eagle One as they are concaved.

That's what I currently use.
The concave part is large. On my wife's CR-V they work great, but I don't like using them on my car which has lower profile tires.

Foam Wax applicators like those from Pinnacle

Piece of an old sponge gets to nasty just throw away.

Walmart MF wax pads. The little fingers cover good on lo-pro tires. Less than $2 for two.

i was using a grout sponge that i bought and cut into 3 pieces. i recently bought a cheap set of tire swipes from target, they have a hardplastic handle and a sponge....kinda like the ones that Autogeek sells

I think I'm going to try the Cobra tire dressing pad. Thanks everyone. :xyxthumbs:

I bought some Adams VRT a while back and it came with a nice foam applicator. I like how it applied tire gels and it became worn out. I had been looking around for a while for another foam applicator like it. I was at walmart getting window seals for winterization and came across this...Air Conditioner Seal from Duck® brand

It is one huge strand, I just cut it up to whatever size I need it to be, it works excellent, and only ran me about $3 dollars or so at Wal-Mart.

I usually spray my dressings on, so mine wouldn't be considered an applicator I guess. I only use it to disperse the product evenly, and then wipe off excess. I got 6 foam blocks (I think from DI) and have only used one so far.

Ones like this

just rip apart on me. I ordered this from AG a while back, and it was gone after one car.

Since I got a cpl packages of the Cobra Flex applicators I havent gotten anything on my hands and they coat good, and Im still only using the first one after several months

I got a 10 pack of rectangular foam pads sold in the kitchen area at the $1 store. They work very well and are dirt cheap.

They work well for applying dressing to exterior plastic trim as well.
