I usually play upbeat songs while driving ranging for Rap, rock and pop music. But recently I have been listening to old school songs from Incubus and Journey.

Many to chose from! They don't necessarily need to be about cars, the rhythm of the song does it for me.

Like "Death Alley Driver" by Rainbow, "One of these Days" Pink Floyd

Agreed.

"Vietnow" by Rage Against the Machine was playing as I drove home tonight, and wouldn't you know the Ram was suddenly doing 60+mph in a 45 zone. :righton:

I can get on board with incubus, and maybe journey as long as it’s not “don’t stop believing.” I have an irrational hatred for that song. But I know not everyone likes my taste in music either.

I find it hard not to enjoy Audioslave (I Am The Highway fits this thread), Beastie Boys, Metallica, Tool, and then add in some blues like Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Kenny Wayne etc.

This one for sure, and in a week it will be 51 years old since this was recorded live.

And one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs. I have a lot of great memories with this song. Every time I hear it I feel 75° and sunshine with a slight breeze in my face. It reminds me of riding in my dads truck on the way to my baseball games as a kid.

Wow! SOOO many great songs mentioned.

Gotta update my play list. Thanks fellas and fellettes.

Update to post #54...

Hocus Pocus by Focus.
