Not really a car song per se, but related... Faster by George Harrison.
Back in my racing days I would listen to that song (sometimes more than once) to get psyched before leaving to the race track.

Back in the 1980s, Oldsmobile had this song that they included on a cassette tape with the sale of a new car. Since my first car was a 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera SL, I guess I have a bit of an odd soft spot for it.

I can get on board with incubus, and maybe journey as long as it’s not “don’t stop believing.” I have an irrational hatred for that song. But I know not everyone likes my taste in music either.
I find it hard not to enjoy Audioslave (I Am The Highway fits this thread), Beastie Boys, Metallica, Tool, and then add in some blues like Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Kenny Wayne etc.
This one for sure, and in a week it will be 51 years old since this was recorded live.
And one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs. I have a lot of great memories with this song. Every time I hear it I feel 75° and sunshine with a slight breeze in my face. It reminds me of riding in my dads truck on the way to my baseball games as a kid.
