What do you like to use on the dashboard and door panels? I have used all sorts of products but have usually been buying Lexol Vinylex and Poorboy's World Natural Look Dressing. Wolfgang is good and so is Pinnacle.

I like a matte finish and the Vinylex is a bit shiny/greasy. I am willing to pay for quality.

I am wondering which dressing is the best and which one is most economical?

Thanks for the help.

Sonax or Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer (QID) if you want matte. I heard 1Z Cockpit is also good. Meg's is the best deal.

I use chemical guys nonsense for a nice clean finish, leaves a good matte finish also. I don't like shiny protectants but if the customer wants some shine I use meguiars interior detailer.

Ultima Interior Guard + is my favorite

Optimum Interior Protectant is also very nice.

Tried DP Interior Protectant on my dash and door panels, really good! Nice matte finish, dries to the touch, and has mild cleaners. I need to test it on other dashes that are more prone to shine, before I come to a final conclusion.

Ultima Interior Guard + is a great interior sealant.

I like Optimum Interior Protectant for leather mostly, but it works great on everything.

Meg's QID is another good option.

Thanks for the responses.

Just to add to the discussion, what do you guys look for in a good interior dressing (UV protection, finish, cost, range of use, etc)?

I use CG VRP 2. Applies easy, goes on dry - not greasy - can buff off excess to a matte finish or apply several coats for glossy.

Another option for a matte-look is 1z Einszett Cockpit Premium. Great product IMO.

gotta go with 303

if i'm only doing an 'express' interior (vac / dust / glass) I'll use megs QID

1. 1Z CP.
2. Ultima Interior Guard Plus.
3. Sonax
