I typically use M205 for general polishing and have a couple of compounds on hand when needed. I do a few cars for money each year, but typically maintaining my grey vw Tiguan and my wife’s grey GMC Terrain. Both very well kept and get a polish or two a year. Using a gg 6 with buff and shine pads. What would you suggest as a good, easy to use general polish? Don’t want to go crazy on price. Nothing wrong with 205, just curious if you have other suggestions. Thanks.

How much difference between the two? I know what the chart says, but when would you pick one over the other?

Also, can anybody explain when to use the middle-range Menzerna polishes (2000-2500)? And of all the choices, which one is the go-to for non pros? Or is the answer to just use what is branded Jescar since there are fewer options?

•To appropriate some of Meguiar’s vernacular:

-Meguiar’s M205 is my favorite Paint Cleaner.

-3M IHG is my favorite Paint Polish.

Wondering the same thing. Perhaps Jescar polish is a good one size.

M205, M09, Menzerna 3500, Rupes Keramik.

I used to use Ultimate Polish a lot. But moved to M205 for the convenience of having the gallon option. I probably use M205 the most.

Menzerna pf2500 is a very underated polish. It's a very good one step product. I keep a bottle in stock for that reason. More than once I have used it with a microfiber cutting pad for a awesome one step correction where there aren't too many RIDS.

For an all around polish I would have to say HyperPolish. Use it in a cutting pad and it will give you pretty good cut for a polish. Put it on a finishing pad and it will finish with the best of them, and you can adjust the cut with all pads in between.

M205 and Ultimate Polish..gets the job done without any issue..

HD Polish+ is my favorite

Jescar micro-finishing polish and Boss Perfecting Cream are both fantastic but aren't quite as good as HD Polish+

Just did my first vehicle with Sonax PF and loved it. I wont ever be without a bottle again!
