Favorite Rinsless, Waterless Wash?

I don't do rinseless, but I do quite a bit of waterless washing. For waterless I like UWW+ the best. It has great emulsification and buffs off really easy and streak free. Leaves a very high gloss shine and a slick feel behind.

As far as towels go, I use either the 16" X 16" 600 gsm Extra Fluffy Microfiber Detailing Cloth towel from Microfiber Tech or the 16" X 16" 700 gsm Extra Fluffy microfiber (also from Microfiber tech) for the washing phase.

I sought these towels out specifically because they are double-sided, meaning they have the same knapp on both sides. I feel this is important in waterless washing, because when you fold your towel in fours you will have 8 sides to work with per towel. With most regular mf's, you usually get a longer knapp on one side, and a shorter knapp on the other. So I found myself only using 4 sides of the regular towels instead of all 8, because I didn't want to use the short knapp side for waterless washing.

So with the towels I use now, problem solved. I do use a regular MF for the buffing / final wipe phase of the waterless wash though.

Hope that helps.

I use UWW+ as a presoak, but isn't it a bit expensive as a rinseless? Unless you can drop a yard for the gal. , you'll only get 16 3 gal. buckets from that $21 bottle of conc.

I have BF rinseless in my cart at the moment. Can't seem to find a whole lot written about it. Hope I'm making a good choice.

I get my gallons for cheap. Also I don't use 3 gallons for my bucket, I use 1 and 1/2 gallons and .5oz of UWW + same ration less of each. Does the job just fine and it stretches out a little more. But I get it at a good price so the hurt isn't bad.

Pinnacle rinseless wash is the only one I've used. Purchased it on Bogo and it's the first rw I've ever used. I have to say I like it. The delution rate is great and it produces a great shine.

UWW+ both as rinseless and waterless. About to reorder it. Ultima makes quality products throughout their line.

I've been using ONR, since I stocked up on it when it was on BOGO a while ago.

Someone else that remembers it's been a LOOOOONNNNNGGGG time since that BOGO. ;)

FWIW, that was the Black Friday sale after Thanksgiving I believe. ;) Too bad it's not been on BOGO since. Especially as ONRWW came out right afterwards. I've still got most of a the 2nd bottle of ONR and less than ½ a bottle of the ONRWW.

OTOH, the gallon price breaks down to what the quarts are on BOGO. I just hate to spend that much on a gallon because I don't do a lot of rinseless. (If I did... I buy larger than a gallon for freaking sure.) :dblthumb2:

My favorites are...
UWW+
Wolf's mean green
Pinnacle
ONR

I haven't had a chance to use my duragloss in ww, but loved it using as a rinseless

Not sure if its been mentioned already but I just started using Duragloss rinseless wash 931# as a waterless wash. The dilution ratio I am using now is 1 part 931# to 5 parts filtered water.
First impressions so far, as a waterless wash this stuff is really slick. It also has the added benefit of Aquawax, a great wax booster. Just from the feel of it, this stuff would work great as a clay lube when being used as a waterless wash.

My favorite is BF rinseless....just because I like the way in interacts with the BF treatment my cars get. But I have also used and not seen much difference when using ONR or Ultima

I've used ONR and ONR wash N Wax and I like both...
Wash N Wax finish quite nice...

I'm pending to try BF, Pinnacle and PB Spray N Wipe...

Tried the UWW+ as rinseless yesterday and couldn't keep my eyes off my car all day. You're right, I added a tbs (.5oz.) to 1.5 gal. and thanks to GDWM I ended up bottling a gal. of leftover. From now on I think I'll add 2 tsp (1/3 oz.) to gallons of distilled water and add it to the bucket just as I need it.

I like the duragloss rinseless because it stays on the paint and doesn't just all run off as soon as my towel touches the paint like ONR does. I've only tried these two however.

For rinseless, I've tried ONRv2, the previous version of DP Rinseless, UWW+, BF Rinseless, and ONRWW. My current products of choice are BF Rinseless (when using with sealants) and ONRWW when I have a carnauba-based LSP. UWW+ is also good, but a bit expensive as a rinseless compared to BF or ONRWW. I've yet to try the new ONRv3 (have not had a chance to open my bottle) or the new DP Rinseless, so I can't say how those products compare now.

For waterless, I've only used UWW+ and Pinnacle - I use both, again depending on whether I have a sealant (UWW+) or a wax (Pinnacle) on the car.

ONR or ONRWW (when temperature is too cold to add some fresh wax). Cobra hd guzzler to dry, cobra xl plush towel for final wipe with instant detailer or spray wax
