Favorite Spray Wax .... How, Why, Uses ??

My Fav has to go to Dodo Red Tropical Mist (move of a top up) looks great. XMT Spray wax isn't too bad either.
 
V7, use it as a drying aid when I am finished washing the car. The thing I like about it is it wipes off easy and no streaking, also you can use it on windows, wheels, etc. To add it flashes pretty quick.

I'm very intrigued by the XMT products, specifically this and 360. I'll be buying this on my next trip to the local detail shop.

As far as I can tell...
No Spray Car-Waxes containing only natural waxes have yet to have been listed.
This is not to say that any product, that has been listed, is not a good car-care product.

-I use to always carry some: S100 Detail+Wax Spray...in my vehicles when traveling.
May have to get some more this winter when it's on sale at one of the local HD Dealerships.

-3M has an excellent Spray Car-Wax product that's called: Quick Wax.

I have about 12 spray waxes/sealants and my 2 favorite waxes are Meg's d156 and DG aqua wax. CG h7 is second to those two.
 
You can't go wrong with Aquawax or Hydro. I think they are two of the best looking and most enjoyable to work with. V7 is pretty good as well, but not as good as the previous 2 IMO. I've notice AW can attract some dust though.

Flitz Speed wax get no play around here, but is also very good. A little thicker than the others, but doesn't streak. Griots isn't bad either, but doesn't stand out as awesome in any single category. Pinnacle Spray Wax has great looks, but is a bit more labor intensive. Wolfgang Spritz Sealant is also nice, especially over Fuzion.

After a year of sitting on my shelf, I've finally revisited Optimum Car Wax. Today my girlfriends new car got its first mini-detail: washed with stripping wash (CG Red), vacuumed, Griots Glass Sealant on windshield, and Optimum Car Wax as the only LSP (and on all other glass).

I plan on maintaining this car with its sole wax as Optimum Car Wax and Optimum ID because its quick to use. In the past I've had hologram problems with this product, but was using it as a "topper". Today, I had no such problems. It was pretty amazing applying it to a stripped surface going from grabby to very slick.

Since, this is the only wax this car will see, I'm curious to see how the durability of this is as a standalone. Optimum says up to 5 months, I'll be monitoring it. One thing that's pretty nice, its seems to work well on multiple surfaces, including plastics and glass. Its nice to know your adding UV protection as well.

I also tried Optimum on my black BMW as a topper of Souveran. Oddly enough, there were no holograms, where I struggled with them in the past. Pinnacle Waterless Wash and Ultima WW+ seem to work well as a spray wax, adding noticeable protection.

I have also toyed with Zymol Glaze which can be found at Autozone. It is comparable to Meg's Ultimate. Now, I just purchased the D156 which I am told is the same as Ultimate.

I also bought a gallon of Mirror Glaze #135, but I think I went overboard. Aren't 135 and D156 the same?

My newest go to toy is Ultimate Waterless Wash and Wax +. It also produces a shine similar to the above mentioned products.

I am a big fan of AIO products due to limited time and these seem to fit the bill. -Ed

Aqua wax, but after reading this I may have to try some other ones.

Maybe a month or so back, and maybe not on this forum...I forget, there was a question concerning the possibility of CG V-7 displacing the LSP it was sprayed over. I have not read anywhere that this was really resolved or not. I can't find the original post. Does anyone know anything about that?

My New favorite...Megs D 156

I thought I liked Aquawax..and K 425...and still do but after useing Megs D 156 tonight all I can say is WoW...this stuff is Great.

I used it after I blew the water off so there was a little moister left on my truck so...on a couple surfaces it was a drying aid and on the others it was just on dry surface....

Goes on easy...wipes of easy....and is it Slick and Shinny...

My new favorite for sure :dblthumb2:

totally agree....my go to spray sealants are Wolfgang Spray Spritz and Blackfire Crystal seal. I like the finish of Prima Hydro Max too...

I also get a nice just waxed look from Durgloss Rinseless w/ aqua wax in it...wash and walkaway...
