Fg400 with microfiber pad?

Yeah I have a habit of buy stuff I really don't need! But I have only used the CCS pads and have had good luck with them. Was really just looking for a possible quicker way to bang out the compounding step without pulling out the trusty dusty Makita rotary.
Oh I hear you on buying stuff you don't need.

I'd think that unless you just really want to pull out that rotary that honestly, there's nothing that the 3401 won't be able to fix in the compounding step that the rotary would. (And without a chance of holograms/buffer trails while probably doing it just as fast.) ;)

Lake Country also has their Ultra-Fiber pads for rotary polishers that would probably work great on the 3401.

7" Rupes MF discs are much stiffer, and more dense than the 6" version. You would probably need the interface pad allenk4 mentioned with those.

They MIGHT work, but they also might burn up your BP

Sometimes the hook and loop systems of Rotary and DA don't play well together

The problem occurs more often when using a Rotary BP with DA pads

Just my 2 cents but I have found for using mf pads FG400 works really good with GM paint
