Greetings all,
I special ordered a Mini Cooper Clubman S a couple months ago and finally took delivery a couple weeks ago. While I was waiting for it I spent my team researching various coatings. Since it was my first attempt at using one of these, I went with McKee’s 37 as it was touted as being very user friendly.
I told the dealer not to touch the car when it came in and they were great about it only removing what ever wrapping that came on it.
The paint was in really great shape so I washed and clayed it followed by a light polish with Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion. All of that was the hard part, applying the coating was a piece of cake.
I followed up by doing the same process on my wife’s 2014 Pathfinder today. It looks amazing as well. Not sure what the longevity on this coating will be but it was a breeze to apply.
