First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

Just grabbed the Surfex-HD since I have the No-Touch I have heard amazing reviews about it. I have been looking for a really good APC mainly one I could use on interior. The price for 5 liters was hard to pass up!

I thought about trying that after I've used OPC. Surfex-HD looks impressive.

Recently I decided to try Surfex. Had been an OPC user for several years. Having used both, I iike Surfex better. I can dilute it at 10:1 and get the same cleaning power as OPC at 4:1. Both are versatile....but Surfex ends up being a better value

How are you guys liking your touchless with BH. I used to import $$$ jugs from overseas with the many many threads over at DW.uk
Had subpar results.

I swore off importing said goods and while I have looked at the BH touchless many a times recently, I don't plan to spend many of pre-wash products anymore...
I swore off pre-washes or at least importing the good stuff
I'm just thinking the chemical-ology is just made for the water they have over there and not the water we got here ;-)

I received mine but haven't had a chance to try touch-less yet. I plan on using it mostly in a foam cannon, so I have to figure out how much to use based on that 4% PIR they recommend. I do have an iK foamer but wasn't really planning to use that for this, mine is the older version that you have to pump until your arms fall off and I have no compressor anyways to add a valve that makes this easier. So I mostly don't use that iK foamer.

I ordered the smaller 1.25 liter size foamer just to try the whole program

I don't have it yet and I am already regretting not getting the IK 12 based on input like yours

I could have charged it up with the gas station air hose on the way to the coin-op car wash but that didn't occur to me at the time

Worst case scenario is the whole plan works as advertised and I get the IK 12 as well and the little guy gets used for foaming tire/wheel cleaner

You can also use BH AF in a sprayer. Works as well or better than foamer.

Are you using the same dilution ratios with a sprayer?

There's a domestic importer of BH. I was chatting with them about it when I was in their store. Doesn't seem like they have any exclusivity to import it. Sounds like it takes them 6-8 months to get things shipped and thru customs, etc. Could be a challenge for anyone deciding to do that without initial supply disruptions.

Did you get the dilution right? BHAF has been the only Pre wash I’ve used that makes a significant difference

My results are here and you can see a major difference.

I used Touch-Less today for the first time. Car wasn’t too dirty so I did a 2% PIR using a PF22 foam cannon. After calculating the flow from my power washer, 2% PIR called for 7oz of soap in the cannon. 4% PIR would be 14oz. Looks like I’ll be using the 5L pretty quick.

I was impressed by the results. The foam running down made me see how the car wasn’t all that clean. And my driveway was dirty because the foam was brown as it ran down the asphalt.

After foaming I rinsed with deionized water and dried with my ego 765. Truly touchless :)

Only touching I did was to apply some tire dressing. Came out pretty good.

Damn, that came out pretty sweet Bruno!! :props:

I had a roof only correction last week and I didn't want to conventionally use a foam cannon nor a soapy bucket and hand. But I also didn't feel like diluting at 4% So I did 2% and it did the trick just fine. Only thing I noticed was the foam wasn't as thick but it loosed everything just fine to pressure off!

So when using in a foam cannon BH says to use sparingly. You don’t need to drench the car. Literally if it’s got a coat on it your good. One PF22 filled should do 2-3 times.

To be more economical get an IK foam pro 2. 4oz to 100oz of water will clean your suv 1.5-2 times…
