First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

It was on Amazon via TCG. I think we can write that option off now based on the news above.

I was worried where I'd get more, then I saw the price and that pushed me. One crazy thing....free shipping over $499

I bought an Active 2.0 last week. At that time it was free shipping on anything over $300. I guess they're trying to convince people to buy more now that there are Black Friday sales.

With HandHeld foaming from a sprayer, how are on general are you using of the -mix- on a car and suv.

I know that can vary widely since BH seems a bit runny so you may spray the top on a second pass to let more dwell from the top to bottom

Since I use it exclusively in a hand held foamer (IK Foam Pro 12) I can speak to this directly

Based on how dirty my car is I use anywhere from 3-5 oz of Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam w/ 1 gallon of distilled. I'm not sure what the ratio is incase your using say a smaller device but I'm sure you can figure that out

I'd quickly like to speak on the "runny" nature of Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam. This is a serious pre-wash product and while a "foam party" may be fun and cool, this product is where the heavy lifting is done (pun intended). You see what happens is due to the high pH, 12 & 13, the product gets on the paint, breaks things down and ends up puddling all around your car, you can SEE what it's done

When using ANY pre-wash in my IK Foam Pro 12 I empty the entire contents of the product mixed with the 1 gallon of distilled water, is it needed, probably not but I see nothing wrong go around my car twice, wheelwells and tires & wheels

Due to the recent replies...I might give the handheld a shot vs....super fast dump it into foamer and go...

How much of the gallon do you normally use up when doing the handheld method. 1/2 gallon, 3/4,. 1 1/2 gallons, etc/

I use the entire contents because, well, I'm a little "excessive" but I guess as soon as you've got coverage your good to go. I'd let it dwell for about 5 minutes and rinse off. Keep in mind that Bilt-Hamber products are strong, so use it accordingly

I've never done hand spraying....so hence the ask. On a car or SUV, what's the average consumption via such method. I know it may vary but put me in the ballpark
3/4 gallon for a sedan, 2 gallon for a suv , etc >

I'll so find out - just wondering,

A gallon would be enough for all those rides

Klasse, I'm sorry, I'm sure you've detailed this before, but when you say rinse off, with what? And then you follow that with a rinseless wash?

I can see how the math on spraying net's more per jug....it's a calculated dispense ....vs. fill and press the trigger...

thx

This is used as a pre-wash for a 2BM wash...or as a foam/dwell/rinse/dry wash on a dusty car.

Not sure where RW came into play

From me...it's winter, who's doing a 2BM wash?

I am, albeit I live in good ole NC we can have 6 days of sub freezing temps and the seventh day will be 75 degrees. There’s always time to break out the foamer and get in a good bucket wash.

I know you guys in good ole NC might still have the hose out, but Klasse got or is going to get an inch of snow, and from what I can tell he's got no hose anyway...so as usual, I'm lost.

One gallon in the IK FP 12 is enough to go around my Accord twice so it should be able to blanket an SUV with a few ounces to spare.

I can get 3 pre treats on my car with a gallon. With the high PH I just use tap but our water is not too hard.

Really dirty 2 times.

My Camaro about the size of an Accord…
