First detail - MIL's 2009 Genesis

I have been reading these forums for the last few weeks and started building my detailing arsenal of tools and products. I finally took the plunge and spent 12 hours on my MIL's Genesis for a Mother's Day gift. She had never done anything except go through a car wash. She also dropped a protein shake in the car a few days before I went to work on it. Yuck! I steamed the carpets and treated the leather and interior. I foamed, washed, clayed, compounded and polished swirls and scratches with Megs, and did a final coat of Liquid Glass.

I learned a lot (like not using Liquid Glass anymore)...switched to Klasse products, and now maybe Optimum after doing more research here on the forums.

I am hooked. This is a great outlet for my OCD!
 
It sparkles. Looking good. You have now stepped on a slippery slope. It only gets worse/better, depending on your point of view. :welcome:
