First Time Boars Hair Brush & Optimum Car Wash

Griots.

I have the hand held version and the flow through handle version. Brushwise, both are nice. I just dont like the flow through version as it is very heavy and clumsy. I normally use the hand held one.
Well I also bought the Griots hand brush last winter when everyone was having big sales and I was spending like a drunken sailor (which I used to be BTW). I used it on the XLR for the first time. It didnt stink mear as much as the MONTANA. the Montana is huge. Well hopefully the Montana will behave better next time!

They smell bad so you can keep the wife/girlfriend out of your way while you wash the car. I love my BHB but it smells like it was shot a week ago and I've had it for about a year.

Yikes! I at least hope it dies down a little more!

Its only while wet that it stinks, after hang drying for an hour the smell disappears. The good thing is that the duragloss shampoo i'm using smells great and kills the smell a good amount while sudsed up.

Maybe I need to go back to DG car wash, because the Optimum smells more like dingleberries than blueberries with the Montana Round.

While optimum car wash is good, I think meguiars gold glass has more lubricity.

I have a 10in blonde Boars Hair brush, so it smells better hahahahaha j/k I used with ONR n 2BM, no problem so far

I used my brush yesterday. No smell wet or dry. I guess I got lucky, the hair from the boar on my brush did not come from a pig.

You could always turn her into a "bottle blonde" hehe
If I could I surely would especially if the bleach smelled good. I think the problem is the size of the <ontana Round. It looks like a giant Chia gone terribly awry. More boar = more aroma!

:bump:

Jim, I came across this thread and you made me  enough to last the day. Thank you!

Old Tiger, are you sure you didn't have pickled eggs and cheap beer before you used the brush? Just kidding!

This thread gave me a chuckle for the day, now I have to work on a honey do thing.
