First to Fight...umm Try?

provided that you use proper washing techniques and don't park next to sprinklers in the hot sun, next time you can use a stripping wash (Dawn and/or OPC), dry, then wax or sealant.

Some people like to prep/refine the surface by using a paint cleaner or a fine polish like UP. You can also clay after washing if the surface feels rough from bonded contaminants.

wax longevity will depend on what you used and the environment you keep your car in i.e garaged, industrial area, etc

what liquid wax did you use btw?

I used Megs liquid wax...

I keep my car garaded, and only drive it at night....so in 6 months should I do it again?

not sure still which wax that is but megs isn't known for that kind of longevity so I'd guess every 3-4 months under those conditions, 1 month if if were a daily driver.

Remember, even a wash with a good car soap will take off a bit of your lsp. If you used something like Meg's ultimate spray wax or maybe Optimum Car wax as a drying aid, and washed your car every couple weeks, then you could probably do it once a year living in SoCal...

btw, if you only drive at night then you didn't really need to polish it cause you would only see the swirls at the gas station... :D
