Did this over the weekend finally came around to getting the pictures uploaded. Was not 100% corrected, but had it 80-90%. Only a one step was wanted. Interior was vaccuumed, wiped down with Megs APC, washed floor mats.
Luckily the inside of the FJ cruisers have no carpet.

Exterior Process:
Foamed with CG Citrus WG
Two Bucket Wash
Clayed
1 step V36 with orange pad
LSP Jetseal 109

Trim:
Megs APC
IPA Wipedown
CG Gel Black Trim Forever

Tires:
Meguiars Endurance Tire Dressing

No carpets? That's what my wife needs. With 3 kids she really needs a power washable interior.

In my opinion experience it lasts on side trims about 6-8 weeks for first application. The condition of weather I think would play a big part. I live in Southern California and we do not see snow or lots of rain. So it holds up well. I have noticed though if it rains it does not last as long. For my conditions it works well.
I find it to last on the window crowers much longer. I think this is due to the fact I don't have to run a a wash mitt on it and just rinse. It has water repellent agents in it, I think this helps. The longevity I feel lasts this long is because I due the maintenance washes on the cars that I have completed trim on. So I am careful on not to scrub the heck out of them unless needed. IMO if it went through a swirlmatic it would not stay on. Just my opinion.

Over all I am pretty happy with the product. Like I said the weather in Southern California is not that harsh compared to the rest of the states. Hope this helps. If you want I can send you sample of it to try.
 
Quite impressive with the V36 and the Jetseal.
Trim work looks great before/after is amazing.

Thank you! For me the key to a good coating to bond is the prep and make sure it is fully clean of any thing. I also let it sit for about 15 min. and then wipe off the existing product. I did offer the customer to bring it back in 3 weeks to apply a second coat.
 
Great Job! What did you use on the rims? I have them on my suburban.
 
Lol cleaaan fj man. Its funny cuz i see a dirty fj everyday in my driveway, belongs to my bro. Its like a desert tan color, never been waxed and only been washed in the rain. I bet it is so contaminated. I wouldnt waste my time detailing his car because he wouldnt maintain it, its sad really. I'll probably upload a pic on this thread later on if I get the chance so you guys can compare the two, you guys would laugh too

The rims where clear coated and had alot of stains and contaminants on them. I was able to remove all the stains and contaminants with good old clay also applied the jetseal 109 on them.

LOL, well this guy said he did not wash it for about 3 months, and it is parked outside 24/7. I was actually shocked when he said that. I was able to do schedule his maintenance washes for him now.

The roof was single stage paint and was pretty badly oxidize and the rest of the vehicle was black metallic. Luckily not flat black or it would have been much longer to get it where it is.

Interested to see those pics of your bros car.

I think the durability is great. It has lasted me at least 3 months on my car. The gloss is good and gives it a great look. Like any lsp on how it lasts in my opinion is how the car is maintained. I wash my car once a week, garaged, and I live in Southern California. I always mention Southern Cal, because of the simple fact that the weather is not bad. What I mean by that we don't have much rain and no snow where I live. I live 25 miles from beach cities. So under these conditions it has held up well. I don't know about snow and high humidity in the summer. I also apply CG V7 after every wash and I have felt that has helped the longevity of it.

It is expensive. I have numerous Chemical Guys products due to the fact that when I started this addiction I would go to their warehouse. I have also used collinite 845 and found that it had great results for the price.

Jetseal does give the paint a super wet look though. Would I buy it again? Probably. If it was under the $30 range then I would say it is a full go. Just my opinion though. It does go a long way. I have the 16 oz and have done at least three applications on this car (two coats each application) I say I have in between quarter and half of product left. Applied in thin coats.

Pros:
Super easy to apply
Comes off easy
Super wet look
Has lasted me at least a good 3 months if well maintained from my experience

Cons is the price.

IMHO opinion if durability is what your looking for I would go with opti coat or Gteqniq C1. It is just a right around the corner as far as price.( this is probably my next by for my car)

Also the reason I say it lasted me at least 3 months is that I always apply another coat or end up removing lsp and adding something else. (may sound weird but, I have a bug of chasing shine, gloss, whatever you want to call it.

Thes pictures is my daily driver 1998 Honda Civic. original paint on the whole car. It has been in the family since day one and has never seen the paint booth or new parts applied. I took the pictures about a month ago and jet seal was applied about 2 months before these pictures were taken.

Thank you for the compliment! Yes, so do I. The owner is a fisher and he tows his boat. (Fresh water)
The fact that all the interior has no fabric is a plus for him and me. The upside for me is that I just have to wipe down with APC and a my compressor to blow everything out.
