Ahh all these threads about the new PE-14 is making me jealous, I want one! Not enough money tho, maybe some day...
 
There's little doubt the Flex polishers are pricey.

My first Flex was the 3401 dual action polisher. I have to admit this is "the" dual action polisher that all others are judged by.

I have a Makita 9227 rotary that I'm completely satisfied with and I bought "it" last summer. When the Flex PE 14-2-150 was announced last fall I was intrigued with its smaller size and power.

The Flex PE 14-2-150 is very well made and its design, fit and finish are very typical of German craftsmanship and quality. The unit it light by comparison and nicely balanced.

I'm going to enjoy using this polisher for a good long time...

FLEX: Please do not introduce additional models to your line up...

I believe Phil Yiu has #00003, not sure who has #00004? Just a guess but maybe someone at PAC. #00005 went to a member here but I can't remember who.

I just looked at mine and I have the same thing as rwright. Maybe only the first 5 or 10 had that? Curious to see what 6-10 have.
