Foam Application Pads: Favorites??

^ I agree! I've heard that they are sturdy and don't get all soggy.

Btw I use Megs mf applicator pads for WOWA sealants.

Pinnacle foam applicator pads for paste waxes, liquid sealants and liquid waxes(Liq souveran, BFWD, etc.)

Though I prefer Megs foam applicators as they are bigger and don't slip from your hand accidentally!

But I then started using Nitrile black gloves while working on the car and found that with the gloves on, I could get a much better grip of the small pinnacle applicators! :D

a few generic foam applicator pads(I got with some crappy OTC paste wax) for trim and exterior plastic dressing.

Though I really wanna try a foam paint brush to do that now!(much better reach, control and virtually no over application over painted panels)

My favorite, hands-down...pricey but WELL worth it.

German wax applicators, P21s 100% Carnauba Wax Applicators, foam wax pads

Makes waxing much easier - no cramping hands, and helps you get ultra-precise when it comes to waxing near edges and whatnot.

My 2nd favorites are the CCS applicators.

Lake country ccs applicators, wax applicator, sealant applicator

You like the P21S more than the other 3 layer foam applicator? I struggle with a $4.50 applicator after using $1 foam pads for ages. It might be worth a try if I hit a sale right.

For a tire dressing applicator, I think the Cobra ones are awesome!

I was thinking about the Cobra applicator pack with the tiire dressing, pinnacle, MF, bug sponge and the three finger foam applicators for $29. Still a little pricy when I only really need a couple dozen yellow pads. TD's cotton staining pad idea from Harbor Freight is something to try too.

I have a 99 bimmer with the 1.5" black plastic trim all the way around the car. The foam paint brush makes life much easier.

I used to keep buying tons of those small puck sized foam pads, but after them constantly getting flinged around and stuff, I now just use 4 inch LC pad with a polishing pal. Good grip and can always use those pads with my DA if I ever need.
