How exactly would I do a presoak with the AG foam gun If I want to do a two bucket wash afterwards? do I:

1. soak car/foam/rinse foam/foam again and leave this foam on and do my two bucket system

or

2. Rinse car, foam one time, leave foam on and go into the two bucket wash method?

or

3. Rinse car, foam, rinse again and use the two bucket method without any foam on the car.

Or is there another way that I am missing. Kinda confused about this.

Thanks,
Drew

I usually do what's listed in number 1. Not sure why. I can't see anything wrong with any of the steps unless you want to save resources. As long as you have the areas slick enough to run your mitt or sponge across without marring or adding scratches.

So you foam twice, leave the second foam coating on and do a complete two bucket system (soap in bucket one, water in two) so you are using the soap from the foam coating plus what is in the bucket? Thats what I'm thinking of doing. My car is coated so I dont have to worry about soap levels degrading the wax.

I think you may be missing the most common, and I believe best way. Foam first, as the foam (may) stick/dwell longer on a dry car.

1. Foam
2. Rinse Foam
3. 2BM

Or what I do is:

1. Foam wheels & wells.
2. Rinse wheels & wells.
3. Clean wheels, wells, tires with brushes & wheel clean / APC.
4. Rinse wheels.
5. Foam car.
6. Rinse car.
7. 2BM.

Drew,

I do the second procedure. BUT, if the weather is hot and I find that the foam and/or soap is drying to fast, I'll rinse the vehicle off to got the foam/soap off and to keep it cool.

Like yesterday when it was a little above forty degrees and cloudy, I was able to take my time. Didn't havta do that early rinse.

I do iirc 3
rinse -> foam -> dwell -> rinse -> wash

Oh yeah of anyone is interested in stepping it up a notch, I have a friend selling his HD foam cannon

I love my foam cannon. I usually foam it when dry. It tends to stick longer and have time to work that dirt off. Then with a rinse pretty much all dirt is gone.

lol@your music
does it frustrate you your cars white for foaming?

Yes it does, I did a clients black bmw looks awesome , its like I'm throwing shaving cream at it. But on my car its really not that bad. you can see the dirt just slides right off with the foam which I love.
Edit: also the music is to block the obnoxious noise the pressure washer makes.

The higher your gpm on your pressure washer the better the foam is as well honeydew is the best I have found citrus wash + gloss is my fav deep clean.

I foam everything top to bottom let it sit for 5min give or take start wheel/fender scrub with a squirt bottle full of water, Rinse bottom to top, foam again top to bottom 2 bucket method and finally rinse hit it up with the cg blow dryer and carry on!

Auto throttle pressure washer Ftw!

Lol somewhat. But I'm going to upgrade to a different pressure washer pretty soon, More GPM I need.

Throttle control so when your not squeezing the handle on your wand the motor idles rather than full bore rpm... "Quiet sense" or something like that is what a lot of them are calling it.

^ I know I have that but an electric. But upgrading to gas soon.

My 3000 psi 2.8gpm gas has it so they have it for gas as well FYI...
