I didn't say the jobs they created were bad things. It's that a lot of people get caught up in the whole "this foreign car is more American than that American car because its built here", those comments are tired in my opinion too. That's what I meant by when I said it doesn't mean anything in my mind.It may not mean anything in your mind but rest assured it means something to the thousands of Americans whom work there, not to mention the communities where they live and all the business surrounding them, so let's be honest here, ok. I always here the same, tired comments too..."but where do the profits go?", lame and weak! Back 7 yrs ago I owned a Crossfire, built in the Germany at the Karman plant with 85% M-B parts, so what did I buy then?
Do I care that our Edge was assembled in Canada? No I don't, I care that its a Ford. I'm sure there are a lot of Camaro owners who don't care that their car was assembled in Canada, because its still a Chevy.
Call me biased toward Ford and American manufactures, or whatever you want to call it. Attack something I love and have pride in owning, and I will defend it.
I'm sure the above could also be said for owners of foreign manufacturers. They will also defend what they love and have pride in.
A Ford may not work for some people, but a Toyota will. Ford works for me, but Toyota doesn't. That's just how I am.
Yes they do, and I remember the 458's.All MFG's have recalls, Ferrari 458's were HOTT cars when they came out too.....remember?!
Bottom line is buy what you like, what you want, and what works for you. Foreign vehicles don't work for me. Sorry, again that's just how I am.
... and I agree with this.:xyxthumbs:I'm sure FoMoCo is going to take care of the problems and continue to builld the freshest and nicest line up on the market today!

Oh and Klasse, this was not meant to be directed at you in a negative way if it comes off being like that.
Happy detailing everybody, no matter what kind of car you drive.
