try it for your self,i already did cd test look on page 1(3rd time i've said this) I like them and will most likely be using them for my onr washes to blot dry, just dragged them in the video for experiments sake.to dr.olds no i do not have no such test panel like that, but with so many different paint systems even the softest towel you might have a chance to mar it when you use the towel, for those there is a thing called master blaster. i will have one in the future...

You mean this?...

This master blaster thingy....Does it remove polishes and waxes too? Sounds cool. I Googled it but keep coming up with Stevie Wonder videos!

I googled Master Blaster and I won't even tell you some of the obscene and down right nasty things that came up...

Went to WalMart and bought both the $2.86 (terry weave) and $3.97 (waffle weave).

I wonder if they pass the CD test?:nomore:
Answer: yes, both do.

Initially I thought this thread was a joke. That thing looks like a bathmat IMO

Then go dry your rice burner with a bathmat ;)

LOL cars dont burn rice i wish people would stop calling tuner cars rice burners, yes i understand there is a riced out ride and something done tasteful...why do people gotta put others down with some of the stuff they use, if they want to use it let them unless its something like "hey can i wash my car with a green scrub pad to remove bugs" then id say something....as i said just because it comes from evil walmart dont make everything bad, if so then meguiars and mothers are bad products......i try to help the people that dont have a ton of money to spend and people always have to chime in with negativity.im not a negative person im very positive and hate drama/arguments....even if i had the cash id still be frugal..

I went to Walmart today and grabbed a couple of the towels. I haven't tried using them yet, but at worst, I could just use them as dish drying mats as it says on the packaging. :)

While walking through the store, I found another item that could be useful to frugal detailers. The endcap for one of the shoe aisles had a decent sized horsehair brush meant for polishing leather shoes. The hairs are stiff enough for gentle scrubbing but otherwise very soft, and it looks and feels like it would make a good interior and leather brush. Price was $4 and seemed to be of pretty decent quality (no loose hairs and they seem to be pretty sturdily attached to the block). Size is about 6"x2"x2" with 1" long hairs.

Thankyou Matt!

I appreciate the thread very much and sharing with us what works !:props:

not a problem posting my finds, as i said i just try to help out the people who cant afford to plop down hundreds of dollars a week at autogeek...i wish i could but i cant! ok i gotta get off my rear and finish this power steering pump, had it soaking in gas overnight to clean out the gunk in it...

Is it KiWi brand? If so I already been there done that and it was a complete fail as the hairs got all smooshed down and didn't retain their memory at all. Got through one leather seat and the brush was ruined.
