From "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

I also ordered a fresh set of HKS M45XL spark plugs too. While my NGK's had 3500 miles on them and in good shape, I took the tuners advice and got what he recommended
Yeah, definitely want to stick to doing whatever he says to give yourself every best chance with this one. Spark plugs aren't cheap like they used to be but they're still cheap in the overall picture of what you're doing. From everything you've shared it sure does sound encouraging with this new tuner, looking forward to future progress reports.

That's awesome! Hope it ships quickly. I can't wait for you to post up the results!

Here's my first 0-60 mph run with the LAP3 Stage 1.5 spare, tuned ECU. I set launch control @2500 rpm and still blew the tires off it

Weird thing was the onboard dyno, it only showed 255 hp and 14 psi, that's 100% not right, gotta find out about that because for one the boost gauge on the dash maxes out @20 psi and it showed that

No more octane learning and no more excuses when out and about (not that I would do that)

I listened to the "angel" on my shoulder about which tires I chose and while I don't regret my choice, I wonder what high performance summer tires would've done to thst number, maybe a 4.6-4.7

Looking forward to this car even more now...just gotta get that hail damage fixed this week, THEN things will be right

I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in some of those on-board performance displays. While they may be good at pulling some of the OBD data from the ECU, I doubt they are very accurate in other areas.

So glad you are happy with the results and the performance of this tune. It's been a long road for you, but it sound's like you finally got what you were after.

A good set of summer tires will make a substantial difference. A set of good Michelin or Conti's will make a huge difference in not only the acceleration but also the braking and overall grip. From my experience, mid-tier summers may not have much more grip than a set of really good all seasons, but moving up to the next level will be noticeable.

I'd love to have a set of max summers, "just to see", who knows, maybe some day

That's encouraging. How did it feel? Everything running good still, i.e. no lights or other odd noises etc from the engine?

So glad you have found a solid tuning solution.

Its SMOOOOTH across the board and ZERO CEL's or noises, couldn't be happier and THANK YOU for your support during this nonsense

I'm asking how long it's been tuned for, from our Discord group today

With a quality stage one tune, it shouldn't effect longevity and reliability of the car across it's lifetime. I've read accounts of people with BMW's on Dinan tunes and VW/Audi owners with tunes from a couple of the biggest names in that scene with similar results to what you show.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just enjoy the new found performance

2800 rpm launch this morning, 67 degrees and some wheel hop, nothing serious...shaved off .2 from my previous

Just for S&G's, I put in some numbers. For car weight I added myself and my onboard dyno numbers. Thing is, I don't think I'll be able to cut a 1.90 60 ft time...stay "tuned"

After chasing around a modded Cayman and GT3RS today on the back roads of SE Tennessee this morning (hitting 80 mph a couple times) I decided to try another 0-60 mph pull! With hot tires I tried a 3K launch, here's the results:

This tune runs leaner, yeah the tip/back bumper had soot but not like last year, my p/s exhaust tip looked like charcoal was rubbed in there last year

That's a sign of a good tune. How does that compare to stock?

I bet your gas mileage is better too when not hammering along back roads. I know many of the good VW/Audi tunes result in nice gas mileage improvements on top of the power.
