I also ordered a fresh set of HKS M45XL spark plugs too. While my NGK's had 3500 miles on them and in good shape, I took the tuners advice and got what he recommended

Yeah, definitely want to stick to doing whatever he says to give yourself every best chance with this one. Spark plugs aren't cheap like they used to be but they're still cheap in the overall picture of what you're doing. From everything you've shared it sure does sound encouraging with this new tuner, looking forward to future progress reports.
