Had this customer come in for a full correction on their BMW. I apologize for not having before pictures. But I didn't really think to take pictures till I was done, and saw how good it came out. The paint was in SAD shape. It was so scratched and scuffed that it looked more like a dark gray than black!
Wasn't a sunny day at all, so unfortunately no sun shots. I can't buy a sunny day lately! But regardless, here's some shots I took just before the customer picked it up. Figured I'd share them!
I actually decided to use the PC with Megs 105 on an orange pad to start on this one. I did a few test spots with both the rotary, and the PC. I couldn't get the results I wanted with the rotary. I was having a hard time with the marring from the compound with the wool pad and rotary. I'm definitely becoming a fan of the PC for correction of particular vehicles.
- PC with 105 on an LC orange pad (followed by a re-wash)
- 205 with LC white pad
- Alcohol wipe down
- Sealed with WGDGPS
- UTTG for trim
Sorry, my camera stinks...and I'm not the best photographer. I wanted WAY more pics of this job. But, like I do a lot...I got lost in the work and forgot to snap photos. But I at least got these quick ones taken before she showed up. Thanks for looking! :dblthumb2:
