Will be working on a crystal red metallic C6---I have both Souveran paste and Fuzion....of these two, what would be your choice of LSP?

Thanks.
Happy Holidays.

My opinion is they'll both do a spectacular job but since you have both do a side by side comparison you be the judge... :props:

Try the Fuzion topped with Souveran

The Wolfgang Fuzion Estate wax will make the Metallic Flake POP better than the Souveran.

I have red metallic paint also, and I am looking forward to trying Souveran on it. The Fuzion did make the flake really pop. Have you used either waxes yet?

Bobby"s right about the fuzion vs souveran on metal flake. The metallic definately pops more on my candy apple red metallic after using fuzion. They are both great products but the fuzion also has souveran topped in durability. Of course I'll never give up my souveran because the gloss it gives off is amazing.

Do you still use souveran on the candy apple red paint? Or do you stick with fuzion?

I'll still use the souveran on my paint in fact it's supposed to be in the 60's here on saturday so I may put some souveran over another coat of fuzion to see what that does.:dblthumb2:

since it's metallic, I would use fuzion. However if I love the way souveran looks on my solid red car.

I just remembered that I have some DODO light fantastic coming so it may be a fuzion/DODO party on saturday, hell I don't know it will just be nice not to be freezing my knackers off.

I see zero differences

Thanks for all the replies....from Dubbin1's pics I also see no difference between the two. The flake comes through fine.

after seeing those pictures, I think everything I have been told is a lie....this even makes me even question the existence of santa clause or the Easter bunny....

Fuzion is red and the paint is red. Fuzion is part sealant, so it has more sparkle than most pure waxes, and I would say it has more clarity than Souveran. I think the red color of the Fuzion and the sealant aspect will give the red metallic more pop than Souveran. To me, pop is very important on a metallic or a pearl, ect, more than richness is. Souveran is definitely deeper and richer, with a warmer glow than Fuzion. I don't like the low durability or how much dust the Souveran attracts, but I definitely like the rich deep warm look it has for special occasions like shows when that look is most desired.
Beyond that, I suggest you do a side by side to see which look YOU prefer.

I am confused. I thought the the shine etc comes from the polish and all a LSP does is protect.

That is not completely accurate. The LSP *can* affect the final appearance, but at least 90% of the final look is due to the prep work (polishing etc.).

I have both Fuzion and Souveran, but haven't tried that latter yet. Fuzion looks fantastic on my red HHR SS.

think of it like this. You take a picture with a really good camera. The pic itself comes out great..but you can still up the saturation a bit with photoshop ;)
