Garage & Shop Pictures

There are some great looking garages and shops here. Mine is humble and still in progress. I call this my Busted Wallet Garage.

nothing humble there,, idd kill for that LOLOL i dont even have a garage

Not my garage, but where I do my detailing. This is my brother's garage, and it is 4 minutes from my house.
Fortunately he has given me some leeway for storage, I do have to keep his car detailed though.

I know the metal working equipment might concern some, but there are no less than 6 vacuums in the garage and he is extremely anal about messes getting cleaned up as soon as the job is finished. The car lift is a big bonus, as are the vacuum and master blaster. On top of the oven in the lift picture is my 27 gal tote with my DA polishers.

thank`s , 1000sq ft all with office included , around 700 sq ft is the working area, but is good for now.
is nice to have a place, i don`t use it everyday , but is handy when you need it.

Great looking garage to detail in Walter. Looks like plenty of room to work.

Very nice and clean space Cosmin. Very professional looking.

I don't have any full pics yet but here is a small portion of my home garage. I have a bunch of small thinks to mount on the wall to make things go more efficient. I will post pics as I complete the project.

Walls were unfinished so I insulated, added more outlets, and finished the walls and ceiling. Of course paint and floor.

Very nice, keep them coming!

One these years I'm going to have to rent a POD for the summer and just gut my garage: rip out the gyprock, rewire, mastic the ducts, hide some plumbing, re-insulate walls and ceiling, new gyprock, remove what's left of the slab and pour and finish a new one. And get a MaxJax. :)

im hoping that I can get it complete this weekend and ill post more pics then

Last night got my mat holders mounted (small ones but functional) and my extension cord reel. I know most people mount the reels on the ceiling but I don't want it dragging over cars paint.

I thought I saw mat holders mentioned elsewhere... Where are these available? I'm more curious than in the market, because I have almost no clear wall space.

I cant recall the site i picked them up from but they were like 50 bucks for all 4 but if you do volume i wouldnt recommend them. for the most part they seem like more for a weekend warrior

Huh. Something Amazon doesn't carry. I should go play a lotto or something.

Is that some sort of Satanic Cult or something ?

What is "Chive On"?

I had the same green drain pan for a couple years before I needed it. Piece of junk has a hole I can't see in it. Leaked like a siv. Had to get another one, different kind. Of course, I have had that one for 7 months now, & have yet to need it.

We moved here in August, and it's going to need finishing. I keep my big rig at my house, so I have a smaller set up here, which of course can still be transported.

This will be the first time I'll be able to work through winter. During the first job I did here back in September it got really cold outside, but the garage has remained comfortable. I do have a nice heater in there should I need it.

So over the past 10 years or so, I've renovated, landscaped etc, and about 2 years ago, I finally decided to utilize the significant space under my (quite small) house. Given that the headroom was not legal for additional rooms, and the fact that we only had a single carport out the front, I wanted car spaces and room for all my little projects.
Long story short, I removed some garden beds, added a whole heap of concrete and driveway, and voila! I had my car spots! 2 good sized car spaces, and plenty of workshop space.

It is currently lit by a single fluoro light off to one side, so not really useable for anything other than parking or daytime work on my hobbies.

With my new detailing obsession in full swing, I got motivated again last week, and have organized for a heap of lighting to go in. Also, with my new polisher arriving broken, and downtime of around a week for the replacement unit, I wanted to achieve something while I'm on leave. With that in mind, I decided that the floor would get painted: it's pretty tired, and has always been on my to-do list.

I cleared it a few days ago:

I spent most of yesterday, and all of this morning prepping the floors, and am now ready for paint tomorrow, assuming that the rain stops...

It's only for my personal use, but so far I'm happy with how it's turning out- the obligatory work bench and storage will follow in time...
