Garage & Shop Pictures

Here's mine...

EDIT: Ooops! I just realized this pic is already my avatar.

If only I had not discovered Autogeek. My wallet has developed a severe hole & I can't seem to stop the drainage. My garage is so full of shelves & tools, I think I will have to mount my 2 Metro Vacs inside the house.

Last night got my mat holders mounted (small ones but functional) and my extension cord reel. I know most people mount the reels on the ceiling but I don't want it dragging over cars paint.
At first glance I thought the mat holders were beer taps.

New garage in progress...lot of pics :D

Wife and I are doing a lot of the work ourselves and as we have the extra money, so taking a while to complete. Hoping to have it done by spring though.

Floors are finished! Just have to wait a couple of weeks before I can park on them again...

All that's left is the lighting to be fitted, and convincing the minister for war and finance that I need to have doors fitted...

That is going to be a pretty slick garage Chad. Can't wait to see it through. Subscribed to watch it all come together.

Will that back room be a storage room or office?

Wishing you the best.

Thanks Mike!

The back room will have a 1/2 bath, washer/dryer/laundry basin, air compressor, plumbing/boiler for the radiant heat, and hopefully a little storage. Our existing garage is being converted into a 3/4 bath and office/spare bedroom.

You can see where they started cutting through the wall into the existing garage. There will basically be a door and hallway there with the bath on the left and office on the right. :)

Sick man. :props:

That is an awesome looking garage Chad. Very nicely done so far, I'll also be subscribing to see updates as they come along. :props:

Looks like it's coming along quite nicely. Very nice use of the space that you had.

Wishing you the best with your reno (and war battles):xyxthumbs:

Cheers! The headroom wasn't sufficient to legally add living space, but I'm happy with the parking/workshop space: can't have too many car spaces!

Here is old picture of my garage after me and a friend finished a coil over install on my fx35.
I've added a ton of more tools/stirage since then. :-) (too much stuff)

Well... It's been a few months, and I finally got around to installing the lighting:

Note the pool noodle mods to stop the doors hitting the poles lol!

Also cleared the side access point with the intention of moving the gas bottles, concreting, and adding a lockable door:

Really trying to get the whole area secure and lockable: still need doors for the "garage", but getting there- they'll need to be custom made due to the odd shape and low headroom.

After that it's time for workbenches, toolboxes, shelving/storage, and then a new project car.
