Anyone else get sea sick watching them? I was just watching the HF vs Rupes one and him swaying side to side was making me ill!

I thought he was charging for the honor to watch his stuff.

No. Just don't watch them. I like GD. He's just a dude making an honest buck.

I just watched the same video and felt he clearly favored the HF at it's price point. I really like his videos but he's definitely a salesman. Ammo NYC doesn't mention his line as often and I really like his work....Junkman is great as well. I appreciate the time GD and all of these guys give...I'm new but feel like I've learned a lot through them.

I spoke with GD a couple of times. What a nice, honest and helpful guy. I also spoke with Junkman. Also real cool and very funny. It's great to learn from them as well as Ammo. GD is a salesman yes, however his products back up his claims. He stands by his products and so do I.

Honestly..., I'm having withdrawals. lol

There hasn't really been any Larry videos, Junkman, I did see the the Gary Dean video, and did some research and since I am running short on machines (kidding) I am actually going to go buy the HF DA.

I was going to buy another Porter Cable, but after finding the coupon codes online. I can pick up a HF DA for $50 so going to do that in a few weeks.

but back on topic, someone needs to make a new video, whether it be, Mike, Larry, Junkman, GD, I like Corey's videos too. So someone start making one. Joes videos are funny, with his Superior Chine, or how the buffdaddy gave him the Rupees haha.

I was really starting to dig Renny Doyle's videos especially the one where he goes visits other pro detailers, but haven't seen a new one yet.

The sock coating video was a good one too... lol. (made me happy with the way I prefer to apply coatings haha)

Also, I understand that these guys sell their own line and some plugging in is understandable, but I don't really like to sit there and try to weed out the useful information to the commercial sales information and for it to be like a late night infomercial. (just speaking in general and as respectfully as I can)

Junkmans videos are wayyyyyy toooo longgggggg. I like Mike's short, sweet and to the point.

The point of the video was to prove that the Rupes machine is over priced and not worth the money and which I 100% agree with the video. Garry is great guy so please don't talk smack if you don't even know him.

Agreed totally. The guy is down to earth and answers any questions you have without BS you. Straight up without the fluff.

I totally disagree, the Rupes ( I own three ) is of superior quality and has more power and will last much longer the the chinese made HF machine. Time will tell. I'd buy a PC way before I'd by the hf machine. My dad still has a PC he bought over 15 years ago. Doubt you'd be able to say that about the hf tool in 5 years with constant use. Penny wise, dollar foolish is a saying that comes to mind. You get what you pay for and I'm 100% sure my Rupes polishers will long outlast a hf da.

I have a Rupes 21 its a great Machine and I'm talking about the Rupes Duetto it's really a pointless machine really my Griots and PC are much better machines with more power. The Rupes have problems to just like ever other polisher. The price the Griots is hands down the best DA on the market with a lifetime warranty.

I have a Duetto and again disagree, it's a great machine and super powerful and super smooth. I had a PC and sold it after getting it, no comparison to the Duetto. I'm glad I spent the extra money for it. And the price of the two machines, pc and gg are nearly what a Duetto costs, so you actually almost spent that much anyway.

No Rupes machine has more power than the HF DA.

P (power / watts) = V (voltage) x I (amperes)

The duetto is horrible on concave surfaces.

Garry Dean is a good dude, period.
