Loss of power is often a brush issue.

How old is it? If it starts out with plenty of power then slows as you use it, it's most likely a brush issue. This would not be covered under warranty because brushes are a wear item. If you find the extra set they sent you and it works, don't forget to call and get more, otherwise you will be down next time.
so i couldnt even find how to access the brushes... i searched online but so far not able to locate instructions. Help please
The brushes should be at the tail of the motor (where the line cord comes in). If you remove the end cap, they should be visible. You can also check the brush springs that hold the brushes against the commutator.
I checked in that area but did not see any visible signs of brushes .
I would suggest called Griot's and see if they have a video or a PDF file they can send you. I would think they would.
these are the new brushes that came with my gg6. should give you an idea how small they are and what they should look like new.
