Cool little truck, big powerful engine. I didn`t get to perfect paint but customer understands. Lots of orange peel from previous bad paint job, customer just wanted it to look better.

ONR wash
Nanoskin medium clay mitt
Compound - griots FCC on lake country MF pad
Polish - HD polish+ on orange buff and shine pad
Wax - poorboys natty black
Trim - carpro PERL neat
Tires - Meguiars hyper dressing

Well done and that is quite a motor for this truck, explains the wide rubber in the back.

yeah...wow!! I'm think there may have been some slight engine work done:applause:

Sweet!!!

These came when I was in high school and still think these and the Typhoon are cool little turbo AWD machines.

I have to imagine the AWD is gone with the swap now though.

I wish the come out with a new version.

There were just a few thousand Syclones
and Typhoons manufactured.

Too bad (IMO) that this truck
is not in "Survivor" mode.

Only 4697 typhoon's produced and 2995 syclones. I wanted either as a collector (probably typhoon because of how tall I am) but talking to people, it doesn't sound like they will be worth much money in the future. Even on a syclone/typhoon forum, most said their not going to be a collector car.

They have not yet caught fire with
collectors. Maybe they never will.

•However:
-Many of the remaining Survivors have
selling prices nearing, or at, the original
MSRPs. Wait 'til their numbers dwindle
a little bit more...

•But:
-Will the owners of these iconic, compact GM
trucks give up on 'em before this happens?

•Whiskey.Tango.Foxtrot.:
-Did I just use iconic, and GM,
in the same sentence?!?!

Nice work and it does look a lot better judging from the 50/50. Cool truck!

Saw 2 Typhoons at cars and coffee, one black and the other white 😎

Great job on that awesome little Beast. Bet it's a blast to drive!

The truck looks great!

I remember when they first hit the market and the father of a guy on my soccer team lost a highly publicized race to one at the local drag strip in his Ferrari Testarossa.

I noticed this one has an LS-3 under the hood. Too bad it doesn't have the original turbocharged V-6 for the sake of originality.

What an awesome truck. Just seeing those pics bring a smile to my face!

A friend of mine still has an original, unmolested, (albeit very dirty) Syclone in his garage that I was checking out the other day. He just plans on hanging on to it for the time being.

I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to drive one back in 1994, and it was extremely fun and very quick. Kept hitting that pesky rev limiter though...

Wasn't expecting to see that
under the hood...

Bob

I agree. Im an LSx fan boy till I die but that was a disappointment. In my opinion thats as bad as LS swapping a Buick Grand National. Oh well. To each his own.

Great work!! Looks sharp for being over 25yrs old.....nice swap too, love "out of the box" swaps like these...

Like a friend of mine says, there's an ass for every seat. There is a small but dedicated fan base for these trucks, and while they may not be saught by collectors yet, fans of these trucks are certainly after them.

But back in the day, when they came out, they were something to reckon with for their time.
