Another reason for having/utilizing:
"The Two-Bucket Method" (With 'Grit-Gards', of course)!
Maybe it needs to modified to the "3 Bucket Method"?

:laughing:I'm surpeised nobody has said 'depends' yet!
I bring a Gatoraid bottle. If the car is in the driveway, I'll raise the hood, so no one can see in the windshield, and sit in the driver's seat to handle my business. I can look underneath the bottom of the raised hood and make sure no one is approaching from the front while keeping my eye on the rear view mirror and making sure no one is approaching from the rear. If I had to drop a deuce, I'd definitely run to the nearest gas station.

Nick would ban me for saying that.
Please tell me you're not doing this in the customer's car.
No, not in a customer's car, but I seriously do this in my car, depending on the location/neighborhood. If I'm in a normal residential neighborhood with houses packed close together, this is a no go. If I'm in a neighborhood where each house sits on an acre or 2 of land and there's no chance of a neighbor seeing, then this is what I do. I'll normally have my hood raised and several detailing supplies laid across my motor throughout the detail, using my motor as a "work bench". With the hood raised, I can see through that little slit between the dash and the hood and also watch the rearview mirror. Make sure no one is approaching from the house, and no one is coming up the driveway. It works for me.
Why not just ask the customer if you can use their bathroom? I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
I drink tons of water also!Interesting read lol, but very important nonetheless especially when doing big mobile detail jobs. I have been lucky and mostly all of my clients either have restrooms in the garage or have them right next to the garage entrance. I drink about 2 gallons of water a day so I tend to use the restroom more than some people.
If you have a van with spacious room I think those camping portable toilets would come in handy. I would probably use one and only use it for #1.

Dont think it has anything to do with balls+1 I agree. You had the balls to "ask for their business" why not have the balls to ask where their bathroom is?
