I've decided to buy a steamer. What you all think is best for the price? Looking for something that's efficient and affordable.

VX5000...not the cheapest but very good quality... Built to last....great customer service....

As a hobbyist it would be between:

VX5000...not the cheapest but very good quality... Built to last....great customer service....

And the Mcculloch 1385.

i just picked up the Mcculloch 1375 yesterday. my wife and i spent the evening steaming everyting we could think of. works great, i'm pretty happy with it, and under $200.

Any comparisons between the Mculloch 1375 and the Mytee 1500 Fire ire?

I like my McCulloch 1375. I don't detail for a living, but I do side work and use it often enough. Approx $175 for 4 bars of pressure, and 90 min run-time.

Good post! To many choices I need to get a steamer also its hard to filter through all the models...?..

What is your budget?

What will you be using it for?

McCulloch sound like what will work for me, thanks for all the input

For the money it's hard to beat the Mcculloch steamer.
I bought mine two years ago at HF for about 125.0
Does everything I need it to do.

Comes with a long hose and cord.

There are really two price points:

The $100 range which are the wagner and mcculloch steamers

And then there is the professional or semi pro steamers like the VX5000

Really depend son how often you wanna use it, your wallet etc

My wagner works great for aroud the house and detailing a car every other week. Although if I had the money I would get something like the vx5000.

Interesting. I've had a Camel watching for a price drop but the Camels never notified me of the lightning deal. Great.

Good price right there.

I ended up buying a mytee firebird instead. I'm hoping the steam is a little dryer.
