Good LSP for metallic paint?

I agree collinite is the best, but i use the 915 instead of 845 on dark paint. Gives a longer and darker protection

+1, but they both look great. This weekend I'm layering 915 on top of 845, and POP goes my dark blue metal flakes!

#915 is a fine choice, period!

This is what I am interested in trying. I used 845 for the first time last weekend and was very pleased with the results. But looking at other vehicles I know more shine is available. I am going to have to order some 915 and try layering it. Do you have any pictures of your car layered like this? How long did you wait between coats?

I contacted Collinite and they said wait 2 to 24 hours between coats, regardless of 845 or 915.
I'll try to get some pics later, too tired now, but it bears pointing out that my paint was very glossy with no LSP. To my eyes, the 915 ads warmth and depth. There are those that say wax makes zero difference, and the better I get with my DA and dialing in my product use, I am starting to understand their point, but no, I see a difference. But my point is, if your paint doesn't shine to your satisfaction, then the surface isn't smooth. 915 isn't going to hide anything.

^ I agree

I see the differences in waxes. Especially coating (have only tried opti coat) but that will make your paint look like a glossy coffee mug lol

Maybe they are color blind? Or (LSP Blind?) Lol :dunno:

Agree with Art - I used to think that a good shine and water beading was all that mattered. However, after using Souveran, I agree you can see a difference. It's definitely not the most durable, or best bang for your buck, but my crystal black pearl coat has never looked shinier and the depth is unmistakable. I know that sounds like a commercial and I hate being hyperbolic about things but I really love the look and feel of Souveran.

I do mix in BFMS a bit but my ultimate LSP is almost always Souveran.

Stay in the family and try #915. Love it on my Brilliant Black metallic Jeep

I have both Colli 845 and DP Max Wax. Lay down a layer of 845 and then top with Max Wax the next day.

I'll put my vote in for Wolfgang DGPS as well. Brings out metallics very well.

I like meguiar's ultimate liquid wax/M26 and M21/M26.
