Still waiting for it, but it should be here on thursday. Sorry for the pointless thread but I had to share my joy. I have a lot of learning to do but this is going to be a great addition to my biz. Next Is rotory but that is later down the road. Any tips other the the countless post I have read would be great. This is a wonderful site and I am glad that I became part of it.

thanks

Kris

Congrats! What pads did you get for it?

Congrats :xyxthumbs: :xyxthumbs: :xyxthumbs:

You'll have to let know what you think. That is the same package I've been keeping an eye on. It's my bday in a couple of weeks and that might be my incentive to pull the trigger.

Thanks I got the orange, blue and white pads,

Thanks
Kris

Hope you got the 5.5" pads.

+1.

The 5.5-inch pads are the best choice for a DA like the PCXP. A smaller pad won't bog down as much on this type of machine, which will allow you to more efficiently remove those stubborn swirls. Remember, practice makes perfect.:xyxthumbs:

No I didnt think of that but it's cool I can still learn with the 6.5 and alittle later order the 5.5. Thanks for the insight though.

Return them and get the 5.5" pads as well as a 5" backing plate. It's worth the inconvenience...

PC 7424XP will rotate 6.5" pads just fine, just mark your backing plate with a line using a permanent marker and make sure anytime you're doing correction work that the pad is rotating.

Thanks Mike I thought they would be ok I will just use them for now and when I have extra money I can go back and buy the other pads.

Kris

I use the 6.5" pads with no problems, I have both the 5.5" and 6.5" pads and prefer the 6.5" with my PC7424XP

Hey Kris, a little gloating over some new toys never heart anyone!! :props:
