I have Meg's Last Touch undiluted in a 32oz spray bottle. After spritzing my hood 2 to 3 times, and my clean MF towel 1 or 2 times, I proceed to wipe it but feel it's 'grabby'. Before doing that, I used Poorboys S&W to clean the hood, so I am pretty sure there is no dirt and that putting some pressure may be safe (i.e. hoping no scratches result).

Can anyone suggest what I can do to get more of a 'glide' rather than a 'grab' with LT?

Thanks

i qd with last touch when its 28 sometimes outside. no worries about the temp that cold. what does make a diff is if the hood is hot. make sure it's not hot. for your hood 3 full sprays is all you need and you should have no issues. i use last touch almost on a daily basis!

Try a different towel? Use less product?

:iagree:. Try a shorter and thinner MF if you're using a thick fluffy one.

I have a super thick MF that sticks to FK425 like a cat on a curtain. Problem solved with thinner towel.

Much appreciated. Tell me, do you try to avoid getting LT on your glass and trim?

That could be it! I will give it a shot tonight. Thank you.

no problems getting LT on glass or trim. i use rainx on my windows. while drying after washes i always throw meguiars synthetic spray wax on my windows and trim. in-between touches with last touch i hit the windows and trim with last touch:)

Good stuff! I've got a 32oz bottle of Meg's Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax that I have yet to use on windows and trim but will probably do so after my next maintenance wash. I'll be sure to buff it off of the windows, of course, with a dry MF side, after spreading it around a bit.

Thanks again

weather doesnt matter too much with last touch. like i said i use it down to 25 degrees. the shorter mf it is the better.

Hey guys -

So I tried again last night, this time using the long nap side of a dual sided MF tow wipe, then the short nap to buff...when the air temp was approximately 42*F (warm for a New York Feb. night). BUT...the hood was cooooo.

Results? Much better!

Thanks for the advice guys.
