Howdy, just traded in a 2005 dodge ram 1500 crew cab with rusty quarter panels, rockers and a check engine light that would never go out for a 2013 F150 XLT super crew 4x4. It's dark blue metallic.
Since I'm starting fresh, I want to do what I can to make sure this body doesn't rust (dodge didn't do a very good job of that) and protect it. It's my daily driver, and I do quite a bit of hunting and fishing so it gets off road often. Looking good is a side perk.
I started just researching wax, found this site and holy cow! What an overwhelming wealth of knowledge. You guys take it to the next level.
Winter is coming, and I have a 7 month old daughter. Time is currently not on my side. I'll probably just clay it and apply a sealer by hand (after I decide which one, feel free to share your choice) and procure a DA polisher and do it right next spring.
