I've always heard that there underpowered. I'm waiting on an upgrade before I pull the trigger

I sold mine... never used it, too underpowered. The size of it was definitely nice. Just never had any luck doing any type of correction with it.

ok good thanks won't waste my money on it . for 30 more I can get the gg 6" and I already have 4" pads so that'll do

I'm surprised to be reading these responses.........I've used it to do spot corrections on my Camaro and it worked very well for me.

It works, but, he will be a lot happier iwth the 6in geared up with 4 in pads (or 3 in Da Mf pads).

I like it with the white pad for polishing metal bumpers and trim. Granted you have to turn it up to 5 or 6 but...

You can't go wrong with the Griot's 6" with the 4" adapter plate for paint correction. I rarely use the 6" backing plate anymore. I find I can get into more places with the smaller pads.

GG just came out with a 1" da for tiny stuff with battery powered seems like it's for whew and cracks

I bought the Griot's 3" polisher for the purpose of using it on tight areas where my Griot's 6" polisher would be difficult to use.

In addition to the automotive chores I have used it along with the scrubbing pad on household cleaning projects such as cleaning the table pads on our dining room table. These pads over time become dark and dingy from newspapers and daily use.

I have tried cleaning them by hand with all sorts of cleansers, abrasives, etc. but the 3" polisher did a super job of cleaning them. I also use the 3" polisher to clean and scrub my bathtub and shower.

For the small tight areas on a car or truck the 3" Griot's polisher has worked well for me.

It's funny that just today I order the 3" from Griots. I'm looking at it to help with stuborn stains on carpet and seats. I'll probably use it for the sanding of headlights. It'll probably never see paint because I have other DA's for that task.

I have both GG orbitals. The 3 inch DA has come in handy quite a few times. I like having it in my arsenal.

I like my 3" (second version with higher power). I use it for door jambs, under wings, around light buckets etc. Works just fine.

And what is a 1" RA?
