I'm going to email GTechniq and ask them this. I'm going to ask them if I used it every day(I wouldn't) would it remove any clearcoat.

It would take a long long long time and my guess is that you wouldn’t. the reason it works much better than IPA etc. is that it does contain some hydrocarbons albeit in a very minimal concentration. these are needed to dissolve any polish residues remaining on the surface. IPA will not touch these."
