has anyone ever used these products? I am looking for a really nice glass cleaner/sealant. Does AG offer anything like their product? Their glass repelling system looks incredible and is capable of lasting years on some cars.

I just got their P1 polish can't wait to try it out!

From what I've read about there products and reviews about most of there products it's been nothing short of awesome . A little pricey for there products .

I reviewed the L1 (Leather) and it is in my top two leather protectants with Ultima now. Will be getting into the C4 (Trim Restore) in about a month.

The L1 isn't super expensive (imo) allthough it is 50$ for 32 oz. if I recall correctly... While the C4 is over 50$ per ounce. The C4 is a different type of product so the time saved in the long run of not re-appying has to be factored in.

A few comments based on my experience with using these products:

C4 Trim Restorer - my favorite product for trim, application/removal is a breeze and leaves an even satin finish. As far as durability I applied to a customer car back in November and it it is showing no signs of fading on a vehicle outside 24/7. Highly recommend.

C5 Wheel Armor - application was simple, I apply and removed one wheel at a time. Finished look leaves a nice gloss and has done a great job repelling brake dust and road film. Cleaning what little accumulation ends up on the wheels is made a whole lot easier.

C2 Liquid Crystal - I dilute to 5% product/95% distilled water as instructed. Application is easy, I began using it immediately after drying from washes and then tried it as a drying aid both with great results. On a black car I did not experience any streaking of product regardless of the amount of product used, same on glass surfaces. Finished look it leaves is high gloss and slick to the touch. I need to experiment with this product more but my overall impressions have been very good so far.

G1/G2 Glass Coating - not sure if this should even be mentioned as these products appear to have been supplanted by G3. This product combo garners a lukewarm review from me, the application of two products (apply G1, wait 15 min, apply G2 over it, remove) is time consuming and the removal was very difficult. Product performance was no more noteworthy than RainX or Aquapel. My experience with this product is limited, so I will be using more often as the weather warms up.

devo, from what I read about the product if the G1/G2 is just as good as Aquapel, to me its a better product because it lasts significantly longer. The G3 lasts about the same as Aquapel but apparently has amazing beeding technology.

where do you purchase the gtechniq from? directly from UK website?

I have used quite a lot of GTechniq products. P1, C1, C4, L1 and W2. All of them perform better than advertised. Rob from GTechniq is great and is eager to help.

I order directly from the UK website.

I should have elaborated further since GTechniq appears to be releasing updated versions of their product line; the overlapping of the G1 name is confusing.

The G1/G2 I have is the max repellancy product which appears to have been replaced with G3, this product is advertised to provide max repellancy at the expense of durability (lasts up to 5 months). My comments about the G1/G2 combo were based on assumptions that the product would only last up to 5 months and the difficulties I experienced with removal left me less than satisfied when compared with Aquapel (claimed to last up to 6 months).

The G1 is claimed to last up to 2 years but at the expense of less repellancy than their G3. I believe this is the product you are referring to but I have no experience to offer.

Again, my experience with the GTechniq glass coatings is limited and I will continue to experiment with them. Don't take this as a slight on the GTechniq line, I have been very impressed with the other products I have tried from them. Seeing that the G1/G2 combo appears to have been updated with G3, the complaints I have listed could have already been addressed with the new product and my comments therefore are obsolete.

If you are a professional you can get Opticoat from Optimum which is a paint coating system. I know a consumer version is forthcoming soon too.

I have been using the Gtechniq products for quite some time now, and they are all stellar.

I currently am doing several tests on my car with C4 and G3 (half the trim / glass is done in its respected Gtechniq product and the other half in a respected competitor)

After a few months of time, I will be posting a video of the test.

I have not used their polishing system, as I have enough polishes, but I really want to try it out.

Good point, Corey. I wonder if C4 works well on rubber? Also, will it darken trim more than UTTG?
