Had a heart attack for real.

I know I have not been on very much but I was out of town last week and had a heart attack. Had it for three days and did not know it, just thought it was heart burn but real bad. Spent 2 1/2 days in the Intesive care Unit. 95 % blockage and they did two stents. So I am home and feel great. I will be off work for a few weeks, so I may be a big pain in the butt. Can't detail the vette, for a while.

Hope I didn not miss much,

Holy Cow Tom!!

I'm glad you were able to get the proper medical attention and made it through!! This is a tough time of year for any illness and now look at it as one of the greatest Christmas presents of all time.....life...

Thought's, prayers, and continued healing and recovery. I'm very glad to hear you're home and feeling great...

PS: If I lived closer I'd stop by and detail your C5......and leave mine of course just in case you needed to take a drive.....
 
Hey Bro, know how you feel, 35 yrs old and had a heart attack last May. 95 % blockage had to have a quintuple bi-pass. Was out of work for 2 months. Been through 2.5 police academies, not overweight, never smoked, never use salt, take vitamins and worked out regularly. You can't beat genetics. Get some rest and enjoy the time off.

BTW nice Vette, the only time I see Vettes is in my rear view mirror..............lol...........JK!

Glad your well Tom.
I'm sure your condition was frightning.You got lucky and things could of been worse.
Take care of yourself and get better.
Again,glad to hear your ok.

I was out for 2weeks in November with Gall Bladder surgery and pancreatic infection.I was going stir crazy recuperating for the 2 weeks but it was much needed rest,as your situation definitely is.

Seeing a thread titled like this is never a good thing, but it's good you were able to get through all of it safely. You're in my prayers as well.
 
That is scary stuff. Glad that you are okay.

Just try to take it easy, as hard as that may be..

I wish you a speedy recovery Tom. I had the stent process two years ago. I know how frightening the whole experience can be. Wait till you have your first stress test...loads of fun! Heed the docs advice and go and enjoy life to its fullest!
 
Wow! Never something you want to hear happen to someone. Especially around the holidays. Glad to hear you came out the other side OK.

I agree w/ BobbyG, coming out on top is the best gift of all! Our thoughts are w/ you. I guess you can take the time to learn even more from the AGO community. Since you'll be spending lots of time here, no doubt.
 
Very sorry to hear you have been having a rough time Tom ... it sounds like the doctors took good care of you, I hope you mend quickly.

Now you need lot's of rest. I had basically same symptoms about 3 yrs ago and ended up with defibrillator implant. My symptoms started while working in Mexico. Right now doing great so please rest and take time to heal.

Bobby, It sure is a blessing to still be here. Thank you for the kind words. When you have had enough of the cold weather you are welcome her in FL any time,

Tom, I am so glad you are ok!

I figured you were just crazy busy with the new job and all. I've been busy as well and just thought about you the other day. Been meaning to call.

Consider yourself very fortunate that you were treated and released after having symptoms for over 3 days. The alternative isn't good to say the least.
It is probably said ad nauseum but take care of yourself and your family first , then everything else second.
 
Holy cow!!! A three day heart attack?! Man...I'm glad you're doing ok! Please get some rest. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
