Tom, I was on a course toward the same result but my wife reminded me that I was taking better care of the cars I detailed than I was of myself. I got the message and turned my health into a priority and now I feel better than I ever have. I hope you get well and back to good health soon. It took a lot of mental discipline but once I got it, the rest was easy. Exercise is your friend, as is a good balanced diet.
 
I'm glad you're OK and here to tell about it Tom. I often think about the exercise and diet that I neglect to make a part of my daily routine. My healthier friends tell me that the exercise I get detailing doesn't count.
 
The good Lord has plans for you Tom. You have angels looking over you my friend! Our prayers are with you. Thanks for letting us know; it's crazy how much like family we all become on here.:)

Hey Tom I don't know you as well as these guys did but I want to wish you well and a quick recovery.

Last April I had a Cardiac Cath Done, I did a Stress test with Pictures as a routine check up and some of the pictures had artifact and the Cardiologist said the only way to be 100% sure is to have the Cath done man that was the scariest thing I have ever experienced but when the doc finished the Cath on me he told me to go home and have a beer that my arteries were clean, Man what a relief :) I know genetics has a lot to do with it plus 2 years ago I started taking Fish oil and CoQ10 I know that plays a big role in keeping your heart healthy with exercise and eating right, you might want to ask your Doc about taking Fish oil it really works wonders.

wish you well, heart issues suck indeed. my father had a tripple bypass at age 40 sucked for me and him was not a good time but he pulled through, be glad they did not have to crack your ribs open, worst pain i ever seen my dad in, even worse then double hip replacement. hope you get back to 100% soon and be able to detail again, must suck i cannot stand to sit around all day doing nothing.hope i never have to go through heart issues but i know i will due to genetics....wish you well and hope you heal up and feel better then before you had the attack.

Spent 2 1/2 days in the Intesive care Unit. 95 % blockage and they did two stents. So I am home and feel great. I will be off work for a few weeks, so I may be a big pain in the butt. Can't detail the vette, for a while.
