Yeah, that may be the dirtiest interior I've seen. What was the process and time spent?
Great save.
5 hours on the interior, and 6-1/2 total because the customer asked if I'd give the outside a wash also. Then 15 minutes sorting and bagging the money, gift cards, cords, earbuds, this that and everything else in to bags I discovered while cleaning. The process was -
1. I first started with a wheel brush, rinseless wash, and an adjustable hose sprayer to get all of the big chunks and dust/dirt from the doors and door jambs.
2. TORNADOR to blow everything out from under the seats, and blast all of the loose dust from the B pillars/headliner, and back window ledge; followed by blowing everything out of the doors, door handles, door pockets, window sills, cup holders etc. etc. Yes, it makes a bigger mess (explosive), but also shortens the total process.
3. Vacuum everything to get the big chunks
4. TORNADOR velocity-vac problem areas
5. Blackfire APC and Dr. Beasley's interior & leather cleanser + Chief steam cleaner with a horse hair brush to scrub and immediately wiping away the first layers with a terry cloth towel.
6. Detail brushes and Dr. Beasley's interior cleaner & Blackfire APC to get the window sills, dash, buttons, switches, seams etc.
7. Wash windows
8. Dr. Beasley's leather cream for the seats, and Pinnacle Black Label vinyl & leather coating for the rest.
9. Stick a fork in it and call it done. Crack a beer.
