Hang in there Ronkh!

I sent him a text a couple days ago and wished him well.

It is with a heavy heart I read this today.

Prayers and condolences to Ron`s family.

When ever I have a great meal I`ll always think of you Ron, a fellow foodie for sure!

I`m grateful we took the time to meet and have lunch at one of the many great places you shared with us over the years.

God speed Ron, you will be missed by all of us.

Prayers to Ron and his family.
He will be missed.

RIP to Ron, what a guy he was. Even though he's gone I'd like to share a great post from him as most of us knew him through the forum.

I remember his black C7 and then he posted "Heres what happens when you wash your car too many time" and then posts pics of his white Z06, that was so funny and clever

Once again, RIP Ron

Ron you will be missed homie. Sad news for sure.

My condolences and thoughts out to his family and friends.

Such sad news. I remember all the times that Ron made me laugh during my many trips to Detail Fest. I am so sorry for your family's loss and you will truly be missed. I am sure you are making something "shiny" somewhere....

Wow, I am just sick reading about Ron's passing. :(

He was the best of the best. A guy who loved life, his family, and of course cars and great food.

I'll always remember Ron for those things and his awesome sense of humor. So sad to lose a great guy like him, and the forum will always have a void in it with him gone.

Prayers for Ron's family.

I’m saddened, to the core.

This is the thing:
How does one get used to it, the idea
of someone like Ron...being gone.

My condolences to his Family.

We all already missed his presence here & it’s gut wrenching to read this sad news.

Kia hora te Marino
Kia whakapapa pounamu te Moana
Kia tere te kārohirohi I mua I tō huarahi

May the calm be widespread
May the sea glisten like that of greenstone
May the shimmering light guide you on your journey

Farewell Ron,

Aaryn NZ.

ron passed away early this morning after a couple of years fighting the good fight against cancer. i started a post on autopia forums "hang in there ronkh" two years ago and would like to send out a special thanks to mike phillips and the ag crew for coming out to ron's home in april of 2018 and allowing me to help detail ron's rides for him. he really appreciated that. ron was such a good guy, loved his family, friends, cars and detailing. i miss him already.

OMG......so sad and my sincere condolances to his friends and family. I never met Ron and like many here knew him only through his posts and replies on AG. He and I exchanged a few posts about weather and his reflections of palm trees and mine of clouds. Now my friend is likely riding one of those clouds and perhaps enjoying some palms trees too minus any pain and discomfort I'm sure he was feeling.

RIP Ron. Thanks too for sharing the above pics. Life is all about those memories for sure.

My condolences to the family, cancer is a real s.o.b! May God be with you in your next journey.

Wow! So sorry to hear the sad news.

I too never had a chance to meet Ron, and may have only had passing conversations here or on Autopia with him. However, the outpouring of grief and loss expressed here is a sign of what a great man he was by how many lives he touched; even if only for a brief moment.

I am shocked and deeply saddened. Rest in everlasting peace, my friend.

I was always entertained by his presence here on AG and enjoyed his online personality, wit and most of all, his humor. The Merlin Shot is one of my favorites.

I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Show Car Makeover at his new house with his son, TropicSteve and other wonderful Geeks. Having met him in person all was confirmed by his character. A wonderful man that this world has too few of it seems.

God speed, my friend.
