Hello folks,

I recently did a 2010 Panamera, the car had only 10k on the odometer but was washed often by a hand car wash! The paint was in horrible shape! And took me around 25hrs to bring back to new condition.

My question is: what are you guys using on hard clear coats (ceramic clear)? what products works best? I heard ISP was awesome on hard paint but after my test spot i quickly realized m105 was doing a better job.

I tried suing a purple lc wool pad and that was a big no no, i was putting more swirls into the paint! So i ended up doing the whole car with m105. I had to do several passes really slow arm movement to remove all the swirls!

Help me out!

Thanks

Menzerna FG500 is amazing, and for the NASTY stuff you can use Menzerna Powergloss, but generally I find that to be overkill.

What's FG500? I cant seem to find it!

Thanks

Thanks Bobby!

It's now called FG400, I guess that's why I couldn't find it before.

The most aggressive I normally use is M105 but I really need something that will do miracles on ceramic clear without having to do 5 passes.

M101 and purple foamed wool on a rotary. Leaves a shine but follow up with a DA due to hologram.

Awaiting for my order of FG400 to try it out.

No Kidding!! See, even guys my age learn something new every day!! :dblthumb2:

I have done a lot of VAG cars of late, most with either ceramiclear or very hard clears at the very least.

Menz FG400 on a LC Orange or even Ultimate Compound seems to do the trick
