Just curious to hear from others what they consider to be the hardest part of detailing a car is. Thanks for your input.

The hardest part of detailing is sore arms and back after polishing and waxing the vehicle.

Cleaning the inside of the windshield!! I hate cleaning those things. You have to be a contortionist to clean some of them.

:iagree:and welcome to the forum Mary.

I don't exactly love detailing an engine, especially the old designs, where the top is completely open. Pretty dangerous.

Actually that As seen on TV thing actually works pretty good for this. I can't remember the name though.

two for me.

I hate inside front and rear windows..... They always put up a fight for me.

Front end of cars.
All the crevices, angles, grill, headlights, license plates holder, fog lights, paint peppered from road debris, etc...

Seems like I spend hours easily doing just the front.

Every type of surface and materials...

for me it is working clean. I am getting better, but always a challenge

Are you talking about the Windshield Wonder!!!

I went to Walgreens and got one for $10. Actually there are 2 to a box.

I have yet to use it. I'll try it soon!

Another vote for sore back and inside of the windshield!

Yup...that's it.... It REALLY does a good job believe it or not. I prefer to velcro my own microfiber to it though.

Jenn

Like I said, I've never used it.

How do you velcro your own to it?

I know Stoner's sells one called a Reach Tool but I have a hard time spending $15+ for it and I don't really see the advantage either :/

+1 for interior of front and rear windows. I also use a similar "reach tool", it has velcro on it so any MF sticks, the tool is a must have IMO.
