Has anybody here used Hybrid V7 over Blacklight

I do believe V7 over Black Light is CG's promotional angle and has been tested by many with positive short-term results.

I have V7 but no BL. Send me some BL and I'll give you a solid answer after a week or two....

I have used v7 over black light and it works pretty well.

It makes my car glow. The results are amazing.

IMO the improved gloss from glazes and detailers like that, do look better than a longer lasting product, but the enhanced looks fade rather quickly. Within a few weeks or 1 wash is all you can expect the enhancement to last IMO. It may still look good and protect the paint for multiple months depending on the conditions, but that *wow* factor is pretty temporary.

Continuing on....v7 does literally make it glow. Glossy in a way. But I prefer xmt 360 which gives it a cleaner more crisp/clean reflection than a glossy glow or v7. After 2 use, I'm giving up the combo for bfwd for comparison.

V7 over BL looks phenomenal. But as everyone has stated, the "holy crap" phase fades pretty quickly. And I feel it is just like any standard spray wax in terms of durability, not truly sealant level (but probably call it a sealant because it is purely synthetic); probably doing 2 coats of V7 will at most last just 1 month

Personally I always use a true sealant over BL; much more protection that way

i wanna know too....
but i was thinking in this order.... since im stocked with Wolfgang stuff....
WG Glaze... ~> PURE GLAZE (idk what brand yet)... ~> BL ~> WGDGPS ~> Fuzion ~> V7

Can you use a true sealant over blacklight to lock in the "WOW" effect

Its been tested on various detailing forums - sealant over wax or glaze - and what seems to happen is you get the durability of the first product you lay down.

This seems a bit... involved for me. First, the WG Glaze isn't a glaze - it's a polish, and isn't "applied" like a wax, but used to remove minor defects in the paint. Second, the cleaners in Blacklight will likely remove any pure glaze that you lay down under it - I'd just use Blacklight as your glaze/pre-wax cleaner instead. Finally, I don't see the point of layering the V7 over the Fuzion? If you're just going to be covering up the looks of Fuzion with the V7, why not just get a cheaper product, say one of the Collinites, and top the V7 over that?

I'd go for Blacklight > WGDGPS > Fuzion, then just boost durability with the V7 a couple of weeks down the line (not immediately after application of the wax).

Oh i was thinking the layering would bring the car paint more shiny or something lol...
i think very weird and... im still a noob in detailing...
Just leaning towards like.... if i use this... and have a wow effect i want to seal it... and use something else to make it shiner... seal it kind of deal lol...
